Fence Removal Project:  Sunday, August 8, 2010

{event_date format="%F %d @ %g:%i %A"}

The Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation relies on the help and support of volunteers to remove miles of obsolete barbed wire fencing each year.  This project, near the North Fork of Fish Creek, is in a spectacular location that is normally closed to visitors.  Come experience gorgeous scenery and a day of really rewarding work.

Please come prepared for work and for weather.  The foundation supplies water and work gloves, please bring a bag lunch, snacks, a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and bug repellent.  Also wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves and long pants, a hat and sunglasses.

We will meet at 6 a.m. in the Home Ranch Parking lot in Jackson to carpool to the work site.  It will take a while to get there, but it is worth the trip!

Over 4 miles of barbed wire fence to be removed.  Please encourage your friends to join the fun.
